Strath athlete continues to haul in the medals

STRATHEARN athlete Peter Muirhead represented the Scottish schools squad at the British Internationals held in Scotstoun recently where he picked up a bronze in the long jump event.

Peter continues to up his game, recording another personal best for the event with a jump of 6.68 metres.

The Comrie teenager also helped the 4 x 400m team on their way to a silver medal in the relay finals.

Selectors have now picked Peter to compete for Scotland in the long jump at the UK School Games at Gateshead in September.
