Perthshire Hockey Club play at Auchterarder

SATURDAY saw the Perthshire Hockey Club ladies’ firsts and seconds and the men’s seconds join up for a series of short games at Auchterarder.

The following day saw the 3rd XI defeat Harris 4th XI 3-1 at Auchterarder.

Young Jamie Dow opened the scoring from close in midway through the first half. Harris replied from a short corner before Ali Dodge scored the second for the Shire squad. Ali Dodge scored his second midway through the second half, which completed the scoring.

Ali Dodge, John Dewar and Craig Loudon had good performances running the midfield.

Next Sunday sees the team play away to Menzieshill 4th XI.
