Gleneagles pony club champ celebrates

STEPHANIE O’Neil from Gleneagles is celebrating after winning her section in the open individual eventing competition at The Pony Club Championships last week.

She travelled to Draycott House in Derbyshire to take part in the intermediate and open finals after qualifying at local events during the summer.

The Community School of Auchterarder pupil, who is a member of the Strathearn branch of The Pony Club, was competing on Just By Chance V and finished on a score of 38.46 penalties.

Stephanie was presented with the The Field Coronation Cup and also received the Eloise & Katie Memorial Trust Bursary.
