Rugby action back at the Braidhaugh

THE rugby action gets under way this Saturday when the Blue and Golds pull on their boots for the visit of Edinburgh club Inverleith to the Braidhaugh at 2pm.

With the start of the league season approaching, coach Botha Enslin will be anxious to sort out his likely squads. Strathmore have been relegated from the national leagues so it promises to be a highly competitive season.

Caledonian Four covers a huge area, ranging from Orkney to Grangemouth, and with 12 teams playing home and away basis it will involve a lot of travelling and commitment.

Training is every Tuesday and Thursday at 6.45pm and all players or prospective players are welcome. With two regular teams playing, the Braidhaugh offers a blend of competitive and social rugby.
