Hannah wins at first wakeboarding contest

COMRIE’S Hannah Laycock (12) won the under-16 girls category at wakeboarding event Wakescot on Loch Earn on August 1.

The competition is held annually at Lochearnhead and attracts competitors from all over the UK. Hannah, a pupil at Crieff High School, rides with Lochearnhead Waterski Club and Active Scotland.

She only took up the sport this year after two seasons waterskiing and Wakescot was her first competition.
