Encouraging young bowlers

AUCHTERARDER Bowling Club are keen to recruit new junior members to the club. They have joined forces with their local Primary Active Schools Coordinator Roz Findlay and organised taster sessions for the P5, P6, and P7 pupils from The Community School of Auchterarder.

The pupils have been receiving coaching sessions at the club for the past four weeks and at their last session pupils who have been attending were presented with their free membership cards.

Due to the success of this partnership volunteers from the club have agreed to continue the free coaching session's throughout the summer holidays. These will take place at the club on a Tuesday from 3.30pm til 4.30pm and any P5/6/7 pupils in the area are welcome to attend.
