Where do babies come from?

MOST parents in the UK have been left stumped when their inquisitive kids have asked them to explain a science question like 'where do babies come from?'

A survey carried out to mark the launch of a new website by the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills has revealed that over half of the mums and dads polled thought their children knew more about science than they did.

The website Science: So what? aims to answer these tricky teasers including 'what makes a rainbow?' and 'why is the sky blue?'.
