New energy advisor for CDt

THE post of community energy advisor for Comrie Development Trust has recently been taken up by Naomi Clarke, who will work part-time to provide information and advice on domestic renewable technologies as well as other practical energy-saving measures and initiatives.

In particular, Naomi will be co-ordinating a bulk solar PV and solar thermal initiative for the local area, offering substantial discounts of around 30 per cent per installation.

Using bulk buying and installation for communities means a significant cost reduction can be achieved and the scheme has already proven a success in Linlithgow, Stirling and West Kilbride.
