GREENLOANING Primary School enjoyed its Health Week last week.
The theme was “Friendship” with every activity aimed at encouraging friendship qualities whilst also enhancing the children’s social, emotional, mental and physical wellbeing.
The small school currently has 17 pupils and every child was involved in the full week of healthy activities, organised by pupils on the Health and Wellbeing committee.
Activities included street dance, yoga, beauty therapy, special effects make-up, football training, Micro Fitness with a portable children’s gym, and first aid.
At playtime Crieff’s Handy Shop came to the playground with their van full of fruit and vegetables and children were able to bring money to school to buy a healthy playtime snack.
The whole school also enjoyed a trip to Bennybegg where the upper school climbed the crags with an instructor and the infant class went to the Ceramic Experience and the outdoor nature walk.
The school would like to say a huge thank you to all the kind and generous organisations and individuals who supported it in delivering a fabulous Health Week.
