PERTH and Kinross Council’s Trading Standards service is set to carry out the inspection of business premises in Auchterarder during the last week in February.
Trading Standards regularly carry out area inspection projects which concentrate on a particular geographical area within the council boundary.
During the Auchterarder project, business premises in the area will be visited, by appointment if they contact us beforehand, or on a ‘walking the beat’ basis otherwise.
During the visits, regardless of whether they are by prior arrangement or otherwise, any matters of concern to traders will be discussed and advice offered by Trading Standards Officers on any problems they have encountered. The intention is to visit most, if not all, traders in the area.
Any consumers with concerns, especially in regard to businesses in their local area, or merely wishing general advice, will be able to speak to us on the telephone or if appropriate an appointment can be made to meet face to face.
Any business or member of the public who wishes to contact Perth and Kinross Councils Trading Standards Service to arrange a visit during this project should call 01738 476476 and ask for Trading Standards.
