THE AGM of the Campaign to Open Blackford Railway Station Again (COBRA) will take place at 7.30pm on Monday, January 18 at Highland Spring, Blackford.
COBRA will report on a highly successful year in which their E-Petition was again debated at the Scottish Parliament; in which they received widespread media coverage, including STV's Evening News and in which they were awarded a substantial grant by the Climate Challenge Fund in order to develop an independent business case for re-opening the station.
Speakers will include Gordon Banks MP, COBRA Patron Bruce Fummey and Paul Finch, Associate Director, Transportation, from COBRA's Aberdeen-based international transport consultants AECOM.
In his presentation Paul Finch will alert local resident to the forthcoming survey questionnaire which will be distributed throughout the PH3 and PH4 postcode areas and in Dunning, during the week commencing February 8.
COBRA looks forward to welcoming members of the public not just from Blackford and immediate district, but from throughout Strathallan and Strathearn.
