COMMUNITIES across Strathearn have come together to support this year’s Blythswood Shoebox campaign.
Local churches, schools, community groups and individuals have all collected hundreds of boxes which are, as you read, being checked by willing volunteers at St Columba’s Church in Crieff.
The checking station will be open from 9am to 4pm today and Friday for anyone who still has a shoebox they wish to hand in.
If you are unable to hand in your box during these times please contact local coordinator Kate Clements on (01764) 653993 and she will arrange an uplift.
If you don’t have the time to fill a box but would like to contribute to this good cause, which brightens up Christmas for so many less fortunate than ourselves, financial donations will be gratefully received on the sorting days.
