LOCALS wishing to dust off those little grey cells over the darker months are being asked to consider signing up for one of the following courses on the upcoming Autumn Programme compiled by Strathlearning.
Courses include: golf, Yoga, wine appreciation, public speaking, Sudoku, stained glass making, creative writing, art, music making, upholstery, gardening, Relax, De-Stress and Energise…
In addition, Strathlearning is also now offering art courses working in a variety of media: oils, watercolours, creative plasterwork, an Evening of being Arty-Crafty with Fabric, sewing, digital photography, discovering Strathearn’s heritage trail, meditation, after-work Yoga (for unwinding from the day and relaxing into the evening).
Due to popular demand, the association are also still looking for tutors of Bridge and all kinds of dancing, from Ballroom to Salsa. If you have expertise in either of these, it should love to hear from you. Tutors receive remuneration for their work. Locals are invited to come along to Strathlearning’s coffee morning on September 19 at 10 am at St Andrew’s Hall, where you will be able to meet the tutors and chat with current students.
The Enrolment Evening follows on Thursday, September 24 at St Andrew’s Church Hall from 7 – 8.30pm
Most classes begin the week of October 19 and run for eight weeks.
