Celebrations in Comrie

COMRIE Primary celebrates its centenary year in 2009 and the Parent Council, PTA, staff and pupils are holding an initial planning meeting next week to discuss possible activities and events that could be staged to celebrate this historic milestone.

Anyone (parents, ex-pupils, community councillors, interested parties, Comrie residents) who wishes to be involved or offer ideas or resources are more than welcome to attend the meeting, which will take place on Wednesday, January 14 at the school from 7.30pm.

If you have any photographs or memorabilia that could be borrowed for the celebration then please get in touch with Fiona Connolly or Janice Orchard.

If you are unable to attend but wish to help in any way please contact the head teachers Ruth Billingham or Fiona Lowson on (01764) 670642 or Bob MacKinlay, Chairman of Comrie Parent Council on 07980 834454.
