Van and lorry crash on motorway
A man has been airlifted to hospital after a collision between a van and a lorry on a motorway.
Emergency services were called to the crash on the southbound carriageway on the A74(M) near Kirkpatrick Fleming in Dumfriesshire at around 8am on Friday.
An ambulance spokeswoman said one casualty was flown to Southern General Hospital in Glasgow. His condition is unknown.
