Walk honours knife murder victim

The mother of a murdered man has thanked everyone who turned up to a memorial walk in his name, saying they have given her "hope".

Police launched a murder inquiry earlier this month after 20-year-old Paul Douglass was found with serious injuries following an altercation in East Kilbride's Mallard Close.

He was taken to nearby Hairmyres Hospital but died a short time later.
