Scanner used to detect drug use
A scanner used to detect drugs on people's hands has been used by police on more than 200 pub-goers over the weekend.
Grampian Police used the device, known as the drugs "itemiser", at ten pubs in Aberdeen on Friday and Saturday night.
It was part of the force's Operation Maple - a crackdown on drugs, violence and antisocial behaviour in the city.
