Council boss 'spoiling for a fight'

Relations between the Scottish Government and the country`s biggest council have plunged to a new low.

Deputy First Minister Nicola Sturgeon accused Glasgow leader Steven Purcell of spoiling for a political fight when he attended a meeting with her and the First Minister.

Mr Purcell has in turn accused both Alex Salmond and Ms Sturgeon of telling him to "behave like a grown up" at the meeting.
