Blaze at 'Scotland's biggest home'

A blaze has broken out at an 18th century stately home.

The fire at Floors Castle in Kelso started in the basement, filling the area with smoke, a Lothian and Borders Fire and Rescue spokesman said.

The alarm was raised when the stone building started to become smoke-logged.
