Clubs to pay for match policing
Football clubs will have to pay police to provide security at games under plans agreed by Scotland's biggest force.
The measures passed by Strathclyde Police Authority (SPA) will see clubs in the force area taking more responsibility for safety at matches.
They will now have to pay for the cost of policing in a designated "footprint" area around the stadium instead of just paying for officers inside the ground, as is currently the case.
