Corruption laws shake-up proposed

Bribing foreign public officials would become an offence under anti-corruption proposals published by the Scottish Government.

There would also be a new corporate offence of negligently failing to prevent bribery.

The proposals were put forward by Justice Secretary Kenny MacAskill who said the law in Scotland needed to be clearer.
