KFC drops legal threat over meal

A global fast-food chain has dropped its threat of legal action against a small takeaway over the name of a meal on its menu.

The owners of the Titanic Pizza Company in Carnoustie, Angus, had received a letter from lawyers representing Kentucky Fried Chicken telling them to remove the name Family Feast from their menu.

KFC said the company's use of the name infringed the trademark on their own Family Feast.
