Court told of Vicky fingerprints

Fingerprints from the man accused of murdering schoolgirl Vicky Hamilton were found on a bag used to wrap her body, a murder trial heard.

Prints from the man's left ring finger, right middle finger and right little finger were found on a plastic bag containing the 15-year-old's upper torso, the High Court in Dundee was told.

The details emerged during the 13th day of the trial of Peter Tobin, 62, who denies abducting and murdering Vicky and burying her body parts. The court also heard the accused swore at police when they went to detain him. Jurors were further told that a sedative drug was found in Vicky's body.
