Four killed in road accidents

Four people have died in a spate of accidents on Scotland's roads this weekend, police said.

Eleanor Brown, 50, from Edinburgh died on Friday evening after she was struck by a Citroen in the city's Chester Street.

A few hours later Jamie Makarewicz, 23, from the Falkirk area, was killed when his car left the M9 east of Lathallan, landing in a verge.
