'Half of Scots' back UK global role

Just over half of Scots back Britain's global role in recent years, according to a survey.

And almost one in five can not name five countries around the world in the grip of armed conflict, according to an ICM survey for the British Red Cross.

Of those polled, 51% think that Britain has been a force for good in the world over the past five years.
