TICKETS are now available for “Holiday Snap”, Crieff Drama Group’s riotous farce by Michael Pertwee and John Chapman, running for three nights from Thursday to Saturday, April 1-3, in Morrison’s Academy Hall.
The production is guaranteed to bring the town a large slice of uninterrupted summer sunshine because the play is set in Portugal’s Algarve.
This two-act tale of comic predicament has for years been a favourite with audiences and continues to be performed by theatre groups up and down the UK. It has even been peformed by The Algarveans, an English-speaking amateur group in Portugal.
The drama group thanked Herald readers for the overwhelming response to last week’s appeal for furniture for the stage set. With the number of offers made, the group could have furnished the show several times over.
Tickets for “Holiday Snap”, priced £6, can be bought from Ann Morrison on 01764 656375 and Elspeth Fleming on 01764 652077. Performances are at 7.30pm each night and the wine bar will be open pre-show at 7pm and in the interval.
